The Gelli Plate is probably the coolest tool out there. It is completely fun and can be as random as you want to be. It’s a great way to get a boatload of texture onto anything and yet still have a smooth surface to work on top of.
Here is what I am up to. I haven’t decided what I will letter onto these door hangers yet. I’m linking up to August’s Colorful Gelli Print Party.
TIP: Cleaning off the brayer in your art journal and ghost printing straight into it give you bonus fun to work with later. Turn the journal over onto the plate, lift the pages until you are close to the page you are printing then rub the stack of papers.
I also printed directly onto canvas and did several dictionary papers for a frog canvas for my granddaughter. Those photos coming after I finish.
