Project Life–a Few New Tricks
This week I tried a few new things with my Project Life album–a new font and printing directly on the Project Life 3×4 grid cards.
I have seen a tutorial somewhere that involved taping the journaling card onto a larger piece of paper to get it through the printer and placed correctly. Mercy, that is too much work for me. I know my printer will print as small as a 4″x6″ so I decided to see if it would go smaller, and…IT DID!
Next, I typed my journaling using Word with narrow margins. Printed. Nothing was on the card. My next try was perfect, however.
Here’s how I did it. Set up narrow margins, three column layout, type text, then return until it is in the center column. I will probably do this a lot since I can fit much more on the card this way that I can when handwriting it.
The font I used to journal on the picture in the upper right isĀ PegsannaHMK.
Today I am working on piles of valentines for a fundraiser at work. I’ll show you those in the coming week.

Considering they are no longer teaching cursive in schools, your descendants might not be able to read that font! Really great idea in the journaling cards.
LOL I had thought about that too. They will have to buy a book to help them decipher the great secrets of old.
This is fabulous Yolanda, Donna is right my 6th and 7th graders have a hard time reading cursive. It’s kinda sad…
I wanted to tell you that your Project Life book has inspired me! I followed your links (thank you for those) and checked it out. I’m a few years behind so I decided to go with the digital plan. You can see my first Project Life 2011 album on my blog post here: http://jans-gonestampin.blogspot.com/2013/02/shutterfly-2011-project-life-digital.html
Thanks for the inspiration my friend!
