ODBD Challenge

It’s time for the new monthly Our Daily Bread Designs/OWH challenge and this month the call is for dry embossing. I used two folders–the pattern one is from Stampin’ Up and the words from Cuttlebug. The sentiment panel is sanded, with a little tool (pictured below) from We R Memory Keepers, to bring the words into focus a bit more. You can see the difference here in a solid core paper as opposed to white core paper. The teal is white on the backside and the sanding makes a stronger impact on it. The teal paper also has a subtle shine to it. This gorgeous ribbon is from Craftsmart.

Two very different looks with the two papers. I like them both, though. Nice way to showcase the embossing by sanding.

    Yolanda,
Thank you for showing the differences in the papers. I always wondered how the sanding would look different. I just may need to borrow your card idea.
The ribbon truly is pretty I have never heard of Craftsmart – I’ll need to check them out.
Thank you for all the support you have given to OWH.
