Time to Tuck in the Flower Beds for Winter
It’s time to tuck the garden in for winter and help it dream of a glorious spring. This year our flower beds are getting a makeover. They’ve become rather unruly ands are running amuck all over the front yard. This is likely due to our habit of collecting invasives–they’re great since they spread so prolifically–until they eat your house. Fortunately, we never added kudzu to the mix!

This slide show is our little house and its jewelry. The back yard is huge and tree filled, so most of the flowers fill the tiny 20′ x 30″ front yard. We have blooms from the first second in spring until past the last frost. It’s all been rather haphazard and these pics are over three years. We accidentally choke out species and then work hard to bring back the most loved varieties. Someday we may actually go at it with a real plan.

I love your daisies! They are such happy flowers.
